Aquafit - 60 minutes - Caswell's Resort - Sundridge

Thanks to the buoyancy of water, you'll be strengthening your muscles and improving your cardiovascular fitness without subjecting your body to additional wear and tear - leaving you feeling strong and refreshed when it's time to give your all! Working out in water provides equal resistance through your range of motion - double concentric muscle action! Also fantastic for your internal organs and lymphatic system. Excellent for people recovering from injuries - it allows you to strengthen your muscles without stressing vulnerable joints. This class doesn't make you hot and sweaty because of the cooling effect of the water. A great class for the expecting Mom!

Cardio & Weights - 60-90 minutes

A group personal training approach to working out using a variety of cardio machines; stationary bike, treadmills, elliptical and mini trampolines and resistance equipment; dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, body bars, rubber tubing, and stability balls. Learn how to train safely and effectively using the fundamentals of cardiovascular training and weight training combined with flexibility and balance training! A great class for beginners.

Think of this class as open gym...but with a Personal Trainer!

Kettlebells - 30 minutes

A class that offers both aerobic and strength training using kettlebells in one designed workout focusing on improving cardiovascular fitness and building functional muscular strength utilizing all your core muscles which are essential for good health! Clients will develop the skill to successfully perform step sequences and kettlebell lifting techniques in a fun group environment! A single session will use all ranges of motions so joints and muscles are strengthened from all angles. As you master the skill of using your entire body to move a kettlebell weight, you will see tremendous improvements in your core strength! Your coordination will be tested at times! If you want strong

legs, a lifted butt and a functionally fit core - step this way!! Step experience an asset.

Yoga - 60 minutes / Fridays 75 minutes

A classical hatha yoga class focusing on slowing down our minds by concentrating on our breath, as we flow through postures that will stretch, strengthen, relax and revitalize the body and mind. Learn gentle to moderate seated, standing, and lying posture sequences, and proper breathing techniques, aimed at improving mobility, blood flow throughout the body, balance and coordination. Practising yoga is about learning to know and love who we are. We all have a very calm place inside, some call it their soul, some call it their inner voice or intuition. This place is the true essence of our being and our purpose! All levels welcome!

Heathly Aging - 60 minutes - Community Centre - Magnetawan

A class designed for healthy aging adults (50+) focusing on improving cardiovascular fitness and building functional muscle strength with flexibility and balance training. Learning how to train safely and effectively using dumbbells (optional) and a chair in a fun group environment. Supporting our aging adults to stay healthy and independent - living longer and living well!!
